Rayburn 2 Solid Fuel Firebricks needed

Hi,
I was talking to a friend yesterday who has a very ancient Rayburn 2 Multi Fuel and is trying to source firebricks for it. I seem to recal having heard in the past that you can buy a generic firebrick material that can be cut to shape with a masonary saw or grinder - does this sound right to anyone? Any advice on where he could get these bricks from would be great.

Brilliant thanks John - just the job! I see on their site they have a used hot plate for a pretty hefty price. I have a used hotplate off a gass nouvelle which is available for considerably less if anyone is interested? Please get in touch if it is of any use to you...
