Sooty Oven

On my two oven oil fired AGA the inside of the oven door has begun to go black and sooty. I give it clean but it just comes back. The inside of the oven is also getting black. Is this normal or is there a probelm.

The cooker is most likely starting to soot up, in the top of the oven is a vent hole that goes into the flue way so as the soot restricts the flue way the exhaust gas is trying to get out where it can. If you turn it out lift the right hand spot and see what is under there.
